BUZZ BEER
Honey Blonde in colour and Temperament !
Australian Malts and Honey tied together with German noble hops.
A faint hint of sweet promises followed by a mouthful of bitter and sweet (just like home) ABV 4.25%

BLACK BETTY
The brewer’s favourite tipple made with a blend of Australian, German and English pale and roast malts. Rich, roasty, chocolatey sweetness balanced with a good dose of English hops. Let it warm up and enjoy the sweet, roasty nose...a bloody ripper 4% ABV

ROGER AND OUT
English style Amber Ale, smooth, rich, flavoursome . All English malts, Maris Otter and Thomas Fawcett Crystal .Not as bitter as the Old Boy (but equally as twisted!) ABV 4.3%

RED BARON
An “80 Shilling“ Scottish heavy , full of malt and fruit with a balanced bitterness.
Once again a combination of malts from Germany , UK and Australia have married to give us a beautiful brew , heavy in character but not in alcohol . 3.75 % ABV

COPPER COAST CORNISH BITTER
Reddish-brown Cornish ale.with an appetising malt and hop aroma. It has a good balance of traditional ale malt and East Kent Goldings hops in the flavour which is sustained in the lingering aftertaste. Substantially dry-hopped with Herefordshire Fuggle hop plugs.
4% Alcohol by volume.

GENUINE Pale Ale
Made with genuine Australian ‘traditional ale malt’, this moderately dry ale has a medium bitterness level (28 Bitterness Units), and a clean and satisfying creamy malt flavour.
U.S. and Bavarian hops impart a unique floral fragrance with a light fruity finish. 4.5% Alcohol by volume.

AULD FOKKER Altbier
Copper coloured medium bodied, cool fermented German ale. The sweet and mellow malt flavour is derived from moderately kilned German-style Munich malt. A gentle bitterness is imparted by the imported German hops that have subtle spicy and herbal characteristics.
4.5% Alcohol by volume

TOM CAT LAGER - Classic American Pilsener
Our cold-fermented beer with its smooth mouthfeel presents the benefits of prolonged chilled aging. Made in the style of the pre-prohibition lagers of the USA, this lager has flavour and aroma and is made with Pilsener malt, maize, noble hops and a slow cold fermentation make a truly refreshing and clean lager with broad appeal.
4.5% Alcohol by volume.

BIGGLES BEST BITTER - English Special Bitter
This is our guest brewer’s recipe (Peter Winch, enthusiastic prize winning amateur all-grain brewer), his interpretation of a Premium English Special Bitter, a full flavoured ale that remains easy drinking, in the style of a quality English pub ale.
Made with Maris Otter Premium Ale Malt and a hint of British Crystal Malt, loads of English hops for a smooth bittering and an inviting flavour and aroma, this is a beer you won’t forget!
Peter reckons it’s best enjoyed as a pint to the sound of Van Morrison’s “Moondance”!!!
4.7% Alcohol by volume.

TRIPLE A
Where can you find fruit in autumn?
Try our latest creation and you’ll know where! Premium aromatic hops used late in the boil give the bouquet hints of pineapple and lychee.
This ale is smooth and creamy with just enough bitterness to balance the maltiness, not an easy task for the brewery but we think we’ve got it. 4.3% Alcohol by volume

HEYSEN SCOTTISH OATMEAL STOUT

A classic lightly bittered oatmeal stout made in the Scottish tradition. The combination of full flavoured ale malt, oats, a slow cool fermentation and a low bittering level give us a very black ale with subtle roasted coffee and dark chocolate flavours balanced with the smooth creaminess of oats. The perfect pint for the fire side.

ORIGINAL DRAUGHT (aka G.O.D.)
A great light malt flavour with a refreshing dryness.
4.5% Alcohol by volume.

CREAM ALE
Made with genuine Australian ‘ale malt’, this moderately dry ale has a medium bitterness level, (22 Bitterness Units), and a clean and satisfying creamy malt flavour. Imported U.S. hops impart a unique floral fragrance with a sweet light fruit finish. 4% Alcohol by volume.

PALE SMOKE– Smoked Pale Ale
A pale ale with a subtle twist never before tasted in a commercial beer made in Australia. By using a small percentage of German malt that has been smoked over beechwood we have been able to produce a very unique ale with a special complexity that we are sure you will enjoy. 4.5% Alcohol by volume.

NATURAL BLONDE GERMAN WHEAT BEER
Made with 60% malted Australian Wheat Malt and German Munich Malt with a Bavarian wheat beer yeast for a subtle spiciness. The taste of southern Germany at Grumpy’s!

ADELAIDE HILLS PALE ALE
Made closer to the English Pale Ale style with genuine ‘Traditional Ale Malt’, this moderately dry ale has a medium bitterness level (28 Bitterness Units), and a clean and satisfying creamy malt flavour.
U.S. and Bavarian hops impart a unique floral fragrance with a light fruity finish.
